Esterillos is located at about 20 minutes south from Jaco Costa Rica, in the coastal road just before Parrita and 20 minutes away from Quepos and Manuel Antonio.
Esterillos is a large neigborhood, and it is administrated by the county of Parrita.
There are 4 beaches of importance in Esterillos Costa Rica: Esterillos Oeste ( West Esterillos), Esterillos Centro ( Central Esterillos), Esterillos Este ( East Esterillos ) and Bejuco beach ( Playa bejuco ).
ll of them are real nice beaches, awarded with "Blue Flag", ( Bandera Azul), for cleanest beaches in Costa Rica, and all of the beaches have been developed with nice Real Estate Projects.
One of the best things about this area is the low density, and the low prices, because this area is not so developed as Quepos or Jaco. There are some big Real Estate Projects been developed, that didn't succed as expected as Del Pacifico or Monterrey, however the few nice hotels in the area are very still very popular for tourists.
Some of these Hotels offer real nice accomodations and prices : Hotel Xandary, Hotel Monterrey del Mar, bif variety of small bed and breakfast and "Cabinas" ( Cabanas )
